Ali received his B.A.Sc in Electrical Engineering with Honour Standing from University of Toronto in 1995, and started his IT career at IBM Canada right after school.
Over the past 25+ years, Ali has had many consulting engagements in Canada, USA and France, entirely in the field of Data Engineering. For the most part of his career, his focus has been Data Engineering on-prem for systems running on the IBM DB2 platform, however with the emergence of cloud computing, he has added Data Engineering in the cloud as part of his consulting services.
In his spare time, Ali enjoys spending time with his family and embarking on new adventures such as film production. He now co-runs Manouchehri Productions with his daughter, Serena Manouchehri, who has already produced a TV Series for Bell Media TV1 at the age of 17 (Teenage Fever). He also helps his wife, Arghavan Gerami, to run an Immigration Law Firm, Gerami Law PC.
